Last day or so in the Doldrums

The winds have been constant & light, around 6knts from the north. We have been motoring at around 5knt for 36 hours and we've probably another day to go. This was always the plan so all good.

Last night as I was cooking the Mahe Mahe for super we landed a small yellow fin Tuna. Antonello prepared it whole by cleaning & beheading it and now it is in the fridge ready for this evening.

There are some strange atmospherics around here as we are picking up AIS targets from hundreds of miles away. 630nm being the furthest. As AIS works on VHF it should be more or less line of sight.

Now that we have almost finished Stuart's blueberry muffing cake, it's time for another treat so the cheesecake will be coming out of the freezer today.
