Christine, Roy & Andy left in Panama after a few weeks in San Blas which is a special place. Thanks to them for there help and good luck with any future adventures.
Paul & Pat joined in Shelter Bay prior to the Panama canal transit which was a great experience & fun. Paul stayed on with me & Tina for a cruise of Las Perlas and that was chilled. Now Dan & Pat are on board & Tina has gone home :-(. The :-( is because Tina's gone not for Dan & Pat.
The guys have helped pack in more food than I thought possible. It just shows what you can do if you try. It's all looking good for good for our month or so at sea crossing to the Marquesas.
The first 24hrs have been better than we could have hoped with good winds. We've clocked 185nm even with starting at 5knts. Hopefully the wind will last another day or so before it dies away and we have to motor. The forecast looked like lots of motoring so with 4000 miles to cover we took on board some more jerry cans with diesel. We now have 1000ltrs, so a tonne of diesel.
The fishing lines are out but not a nibble yet. Still we're all very happy with the sailing. The fish can come later.
The weather is cool & overcast & it has just started to rain. At least the boat gets a wash.
