Another productive
day, about 207 miles. The wind has eased slighly and come round behind us (as
forecast) although has picked up again in the last couple of hours, so we're now
back to 2 reefs in the main and the number 4 jib. We're currently about 270
miles away from Lord Howe, so looking at arriving first thing
monday.
Life onboard is more
comfortable and drier today - not so many waves going through the
cockpit!
Just heard back from
the australian customs and immigration, looks like we might not be able to call
at Lord Howe afterall - watch this space....
