Having spent just over a week in Marina Taina, and with just over another week to kill until we have our full complement of crew for the next leg, we've decided to head back to the swimming pool anchorage to have some chill out time and get some jobs done on the boat.

Mairi (long time and now most persistent Logic crew member) has rejoined!! Which is great news, great to have her back onboard. I think she's managing to cope with the change from superyacht style accommodation and lifestyle to the slightly less comfortable racing yacht. But she's allowed to come down below in dripping wet clothes though, so it's not all bad.

Mao has joined us in Moorea, which is also great news. He's from northern Italy and has been working his way around the world by sea. With Jeremy who is joining us this coming weekend that will bring us up to four for our legs to the Cook Islands and onwards to Tonga, where we will pick up Kirsten and Mark for our leg to Fiji.

It's been pretty windy these last few days, which has been great for the windsurfing, but not so great for getting through the jobs list. Having said that we've still managed to take out, clean and replace the fresh water system (tastes good again thankfully), and given the whole hull below the waterline a good clean (was getting a bit hairy after our time in Tahiti).

Other than jobs we've been socialising with family and old(ish) friends on Sea Topaz and Long White Cloud, and making new friends with cruisers our age (so there are others - sorry Jem and Tuck, we found them just too late for you guys...) on Banyan from Calafornia and Toufleur (sp?) from Norway.

Tomorrow we head back over to Tahiti, making use of a light wind day before the trades come back strongly on friday. This will give us a chance to get some more jobs done, pick up Jeremy on saturday, chill out on sunday and then check out and leave on Monday.
