We've come back over
to Tahiti (moored stern to one of the pontoons in Papeete this time) to pick up
Jeremy, get some jobs and provisioning done.
It's been a hectic
few days, but we've managed to get a lot done, lots of cleaning, regripping the
floor boards again, heads and engine servicing etc etc.
We even found time
to hire a small 4wd and explore some of the interior of Tahiti. Unfortunately
for us it was raining pretty hard, which made some of the river fords look
pretty intimidating from our little Suzuki, so we didn't manage to get all the
way to the top before turning back to get across the main ford before it got too
deep!
