We've had a pretty
relaxing few days in Noumea, the capital of New Caledonia. Checked out the
museums, looked at the weather, and sampled one of the top local restaurants
(thanks to Jeremy!).
We're sorting out
some formalities and shopping this morning, and then all being well, heading off
this afternoon bound for Lord Howe Island, which is about 2/3 of the way between
here and sydney where we hope to spend a few days before moving on to
sydney.
