Almost at the half way mark and all is well. today winds were light and variable - exactly as forecasted - after a fast night under full sail heading east. Hopefully this is the last calm patcch before the promised north-westerly air flow kicks in on Thursday. In short, the day was a gift and we made the most of the peace and quiet. We saw two cargo ships, the first vessels sighted in four days. No luck at monitoring any weather or cruiser net broadcasts on short wave and it seems that yesterday's fish was a one-time only event Sad smile emoticon
