Aah no! We have a leak. Nothing life threatening but
enough to keep us busy throwing water overboard. The problem is with one if
the port lights, (that's a window in the hull) the leak isn't big but its
persistent. Various attempts at plugging it with silicon sealant and a
self-annealing tape haven't worked. The problem is exacerbated by the fact
that while we are running fast on this tack, that particular port light is
often underwater. A second problem is water leaking from the sea water
circulation pump on the generator. It needs a proper workbench and tools I
don't have on board so this will have to wait until Portugal. Otherwise, all is
well and we are making good progress for an arrival in Lagos on
Wednesday.
