Some Forward Progress

The strong winds reduced overnight and after daybreak were no longer coming from where we want to go.  We've been reaching (the nicest point of sail) all day heading north east - the direction in which we actually want to travel.

The last couple of days could either be regarded as days in which no progress was made, or alternatively days where we just about managed to keep position despite difficult headwinds.  You'll guess which of these views I prefer.

Today has been pretty idyllic.  Clear blue sky, sparkling blue water, moderate wind from a handy direction, dry, and the best bit of longish trips: the wide open space and the sweep of the sky - a huge contrast to working in a city.
