Good afternoon everyone,

Surprisingly, quite a lot has been happening out here in international waters, 55:22.50N 11:18.29W (: During the night of the 2nd/3rd we were making good progress with the storm jib. Having now moved off the edge of the continental shelf, the seas are a lot less confused than they were crossing over the Stanton Banks.

During the prolonged period of no wind yesterday we were treated to a lovely display from 6 or 7 pods of short-finned pilot whales with their associated common dolphin groupies. They were breaching and splashing all over the place for at least 20 mins. The wind picked up a bit over night, but died again this morning, so we put up the cruising chute and have been wing on wing with it ever since. The Monitor wind vane has been doing an outstanding job keeping us on track.

Fortunately, there aren’t too many vessels around here so my reading is progressing a pace. I am already 2 books down. Daddy is making slightly slower progress through his magazines.

Hope this finds you very well
