Return Leg: Day 8 - Ireland?

It definately starting to feel as though we're making progress! Our
nearest landfall is no longer Portugal or Spain - but Ireland. Just
210NM to our north and we could sample the glories of Guiness and
blarney. But I'm just about to talk to James Morrow on the SSB, so no
need for more blarney!
We've now been at sea for just over week - so many calms, and so many
times of screaming along. We're now ghosting along in a very gentle
breeze, which I am really hoping is going to hold out and not die - but
I think it wll.
James is asleep - I think the sleep deprivation is beginning to catch
up with him as he says he has no recollection of how he awoke and got
on deck for a sail change eariler today - he was on autopilot
