Hello everyone,
Thanks for the e-mails to those who sent them.
We are now over 2 days into this trip and over halfway through the
distance from Cascais to Lanzarote.
The first couple of days were perhaps a bit more exciting than we had
planned, the wind varied from a force 6 to a force 8 the whole time.
It has now dropped to a much more manageable force 5 so we have a bit
more sail out and we are currently going along nicely at about 7
Knots.
We are now getting in to a better routine as well. We are doing 2 hour
watches, and then a 6 hour gap until the next watch. This does not
sound much, but by the time everyone has caught up on a night's sleep
it is about 9:00 in the morning.
Hope everyone is well and see you all soon.
Steve
