I would say you are doing well. I think you gained quite a lot by going close to the island at the start. You are shown as 7th in cat 3. That is a position for the two legs combined which means you have moved up a bit. Scherzo is about 50 miles behind.
There are quite a lot of boats to your west. There are also quite a few who seem to be heading about 020 if that makes any sense.

It's now the Thursday morning.  Since the wind came in yesterday we've
been flying along - about 180 NM closer to Falmouth than this time
yesterday.  Yesterday was sunshine all day (yes Jo, we all put suncream
on) but this morning is the tail end of a front so is grey and damp.
.....
Just as I was typing the last bit, James came down - all was as it had
been for the last 12 hours.  I heard an odd strain, and poked my head
out to find that the front had come through and the wind had veered by
90deg, gybing us.  The preventer had worked and all was fine and after a
bit of sorting out we're now on a beam reach instead of a dead run. The
AIS track shows that 'Happy', a couple of miles to our east, was also
caught out - their track goes south for a mile before returning to
course.

We' don't really know how we're doing compaed to the other crews
(except TaiTai and Tamarind, who are on the midday radio net), so any
distalltion of placings would be gratefully received.
