Many thanks to those who sent Limericks - all much appreciated.
We introduced the idea on the radio net and will report back tomorrow.
There is a fishing competition amongst those on the radio net - one boat
has already caught a 24lb Dorado, while we has yet to get a bite.

We get a position report from the organisers every morning, but without
seeing the positions on a map its hard to visualise. Steve and
Alistair have spent hours trying to get a spreadsheet to plot the
positions, but so far with limited success. It would be good to know
who in our division are even with us or ahead and which route they have
taken. We're aiming for 20N, 30W and hope the trade winds. The winds
look like they'll be lighter over the next 24 hours, so any help in
spotting the best route would be appreciated!

Here are a selection of the Llmericks:

There once was a boat in the A-R-C
With James-Sarah, Rob-Alistair and Ste.
And tensions got fraught,
As the sail got caught.
On the first day of many at sea.

I like this one:

There once was a boat in the arc,
Who thought it a walk in the park,
Middle of the Atlantic
was actually quite frantic,
as their sailing was as good as their limericks.

There once was a boat in the arc
Who went in for a bit of a lark
But trouble with the chute
Put paid to the route
And now they're somewhere off Sark

There once was a boat in the ARC
The challenge they thought it a lark
They jibbed and they tacked, no courage they lacked
In St. Lucia the Halcyon they'll park
