In the first leg of Bayona to the Canaries, we stopped after 200 miles at Ilha Berlenga, an island nature reserve just off Peniche. This is the first stop in Portugal and the sail so far has perhaps lacked notable features. Exceptions to this would be pods of hunting dolphins, Rob's not perfect attempt at sextant navigation and Ol spotting many a flying penguin. Sun is shining, however, giving good sailing on fickle winds.
