The weather is decidely un-December ish here. In the back cabin, we've
had the choice of hatches open with air but the risk of occasional
showers, or shut and go for the sauna feeling. We've been opting for
the cool option which was fine until last night when a rude wave came
and landed in the cabin. It's really disappointing to be woken to
the noise of water crashing onto your bed! Ah well, no permanent
harm done.

Today was washing day for some as we try to eke out our clothing
supply to St Lucia with smelling too bad. A couple of tee-shirts
have been declared beyond the pale and will, I think, be doomed to
stink for ever.

The race for Class 1H hots up. We logged 178Nm yesterday and are now
ahead of Flying John on the water but not quite on handicap. Still
1000Nm to go though.,..
