With Mindelo,Sao Vincente in the Cape Verdes 200
miles behind us, we are 1/10 the way there! The first night was rough and
tough, 2nd night still big seas but we both managed to get food and 4 hours
sleep each. Only seen 2 big ships and they both came within 1/4 mile of
us.
Today is beautiful sunshine and of course the
Atlantic swelll is there but more gentle.
Seen lots of flying fish today they leap out of the
water in front of us and curve their way behind us, some of them stay in the air
for at least 50 yds, they're a beautiful irridescent blue
colour.
