Hello All
Hope the Easter Bunny managed to find his way to your house with a few goodies!  He came here with a box of Maltesers and two chocolate puddings, will eat those later.
Now we're past the 1000 mile mark we're counting our way down, we're 666 miles to Antigua!  We've done 3/4 of the journey. Should arrive Friday or Saturday if all goes well, then we'll sleep for a few days and clean  this boat up.
Had one or two bad nights when the seas were really sloppy and making resting and sleeping very difficult not to mention cooking but settled again today and we have been having a nice run until a few minutes ago when the wind dropped altogether but the seas started rolling us around again, so it's been down with our beautiful sail, engine on and up with a small amount of main to steady us.
We had our first visitor yesterday evening as I was cooking dinner, a Tern landed on our Hydrovane and rested for about 10 minutes then dissappeared.  We''re still getting flying fish landing on the boat over night, tiny little things, we counted 10 this morning.
Still caught no fish don't know where they are.  We have one piece of steak left and one piece of chicken in the freezer before we resort to tins., so we need fresh fish!  Most of our fresh veg is finished I have 1 carrot a small piece of butternut squash 1 tomato and a couple of leaves of lettuce which  has done extremely well.A few potatoes and then we go on to tinned veg as well.  We still have plenty of apples, oranges and we're drinking fresh lemon juice every morning, it's very good for facial excercises, we even  pucker our lips before it gets to our mouths now.  I'm sure my skin is improving because of the lemon juice.  Hope all of you are fit and well Happy Easter Holidays
