Today is another beautiful day sunshine, blue skies, moderate seas and enough wind to fill the Cruising Chute and gently pull us along at around 5 to 6 knots.  Why is it that every evening for the past few days the wind goes all over the place we spend hours trying to find the right combination of sails to cope with the wind seas which by this time are rocking and rolling us about and the winds that pick up and drop off again.  Not much sleep last night again, so we've been trying to catch up today.  Cheered ourselves up today with egg, chips and Heinz beans for lunch!
Done 125 miles over the last 24 hours.
Discovered that the birds we keep seeing are Shearwaters and Petrels.

Top Tip :Fruit and Veg bought in Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria 8 March are still good. We washed all our fruit and veg in a Milton solution,  so far had 1 orange and 1 lemon go off on us.  The carrots have kept particularly well, sterilized and in the fridge, even courgettes lasted, and we have 1 tomato left from Cape Verde. Although the carrots we bought from Cape Verdes didn't look as though they'd last the night, but we ate those first and still have a few Canarian carrots left.
