Dear all,
On request of the skipper Anders, I am free to
writte a small massage to all of you.
First of all I would like to thank 3
persons:
1) Erik for his fantastic Swan ( we take care of
her)
2) Anders, the most relaxed but experienced skipper
we ever met.
3) Our chef de cuisine Chris, who knows to suprise
us 3 times a day with an excellent meal.
After our perfect start, we decided not to use the
Genacker as we had wind enough and the crew had to learn the boat
first.
It was our tactic not to go straight South but
first go West first to get a favourable wind. (So far so good)
This morning at 10:00 the Genacker was set and the
speed went up to 9 to 10 knots.
We are in a field with 4 others.
We also received a repport from the ARC this
morning with a score. At his moment we are on nr 24 position (after
handicap rating) out of 220 and this was measured at 04:00 this
morning. Let's wait for the new
list.
Just to inform you that we all experience a
wonderfull crossing sofar.
