Title: We have arrived!

What a great moment! We arrived at sunset in perfect conditions and crossed the line after 17 days and 4 hours at 2102 GMT (1702 local time) having logged 3025 miles since leaving Las Palmas. It is hard to describe the mix of elation, relief, excitement and sadness to have ended a project that has occupied my thoughts almost incessantly since the beginning of July. We made it safely, in good health, good humour and in a reasonable time (although, next time, I reckon we could take 2 days off this trip time!) and we are already starting to enjoy the Caribbean hospitality.
