Anchored at the southern end of a Calor Millor. A large bay backed mainly by a fine beach and many hotels. Although obviously a resort, the hotels were generally tastefully designed and spaced well apart, giving an air of spaciousness. The anchorage was a bit exposed to any easterly swell, but the holding was good. A walk up the nearest headland gave a good vista along the coast from an old restored fortification. Three nights sufficed until a suitable weather window opened up for the next leg, to Menorca.
