Cedeira
We moved from Bares in the morning and made our way to Ria de Cedeira. There was no wind and the weather was gray and cool. With no sail to steady us we rolled our way along the coast to Cedeira admiring the scenery of high hills swathed in cloud. It seems that so far, one of the features of our cruise is the greyness of the weather and the lack of wind, entailing too much motoring.
We remembered the Ria as we passed by the little chapel high up on a hill at the entrance. Beautiful little sandy beaches, wooded hills and a quaint little lighthouse perched on a rock. After turning a corner, the Ria was completely enclosed and the sea nowhere in sight. We anchored off the fishing port in increasing warmth and sunshine. On walking into town we discovered the old, previously walled town which had escaped us on our previous visit.
