Position: 29:10.421N 014:47.356W - Out of AIS range

The first 24 hours of the journey have been eventful with a bimini
foot ripping out of the deck in the first hour, and the exact same
drinking water pipe that burst on Christmas Day mid-ocean doing the
same again. The boys have therefore motored for fifteen and a half
hours whilst fixing things but are now cracking along at 7 knots plus
under sail.

I followed their progress until I went to bed at 2am but haven't been
able to get an AIS signal from them since waking this morning. After
a bit of googling I think they've got a class B system which is lower
power than the class A carried by larger vessels and my guess is
that's why I can't see them now they're out of range of the shore
based receivers. At least that's what I hope!

Keep up the good work boys x
