We're hot (okay, lukewarm) on the heels of Dave and Ruth on Dexter and we're looking forward to catching up with them so I can thank them in person for putting up with, er I mean, looking after Chris whilst I was recovering.  We also need to thank them for inadvertently doing a recce of our journey to Ibiza.  We dismissed Belamedina Marina as Dave said it was expensive and the entrance has silted up causing an uncomfortable surge.  Instead, we're in Fuengirola, less expensive and more convenient for my Aunthy Christine, Uncle John, Del and Elaine to get to.

They joined us yesterday afternoon and by the look on Del's face when he saw DecaDance I think he must have been expecting to spend the day on a rowing boat.  I'd like to say I'd forgotten what a nutter Del is but - despite not having seen him for years - he's a once met, never forgotten character.  He was on particularly good form yesterday.  So was Chris who was in danger of neglecting the chorizo and burgers on the Cobb in favour of the role he calls Chief Entertainment Officer.

No doubt the boys will soon be cursing the power of Facebook following their belly-dance and re-enactment of "The Evolution of Man" on the pontoon.  We girls insisted that Del was on the left, not that we think he's perhistoric or anything.

It was a very entertaining day with much loved, and much missed family and friends.

We're here for one more day.  I'm reviewing the new version of our website so Richard can publish it and I can push on with some marketing.  These free-loaders are all well and good, but we're supposed to be running a business!  Chris is tightening stanchions and washing his smalls and then we're off to stock up the boat and prepare her ready to sail tomorrow.  We're aiming to reach Ibiza in one single hop.
