Position: 28:01.11N 016:36.46W - Marina San Miguel, Tenerife

Bobbing up and down on the water is aggrevating my sciatica, and the strong wind is now coming from the West which makes waves in the marina so we're bobbing more than ever at the moment. I've cancelled my appointment here and fly home this evening to take advantage of being a UK tax payer. It breaks my heart to leave Chris but Dave and Ruth have promised to look after him. We saw them yesterday and they invited us aboard their boat for lasagne, with their friends Chrissie and Collis. Chrissie is an holistic therapist and she gave me some impromptu therapy in the marina bar. It must have looked weird with her wiggling my leg and pulling my toes in public but it did relieve some of the pressure.

The lasagne was delicious, and we had a great night, but there's something about the way Chris and Dave giggle like naughty schoolboys together that makes me think Ruth's going to find it difficult to stop them getting up to mischief whilst I'm away...

We're looking for crew to Madeira then Lagos for early next month so if any one is interested please send us an email.
