DecaDance appears to be harbouring a mosquito with a foot fetish.  I've been bitten on my left big toe, and Chris right in the middle of the sole of his right foot.  It's a brave blighter, and probably dead by now.

One of our best purchases for the boat was two folding bikes.  Chris is in his element on a bike, and the grin on his face is akin to that of a four-year old who has just realised that dad isn't holding the bike any more, and he's riding it himself without stabilisers.  This is a relief following his very nasty cycling accident just over two years ago, when he broke his jaw and smashed his cheek-bone.  Our fold up bikes are very different to his Specialized Rouibix racing bike, they've got tiny little wheels and Chris looks like the kid from ET, especially with his rucksack on his back, which we both carry for our shopping.  The bikes allow us to cover a much greater area than on foot so we see more of a place, and we also save money by shopping further afield from the marina.  Mr Nice Dutchman's other recommended shopping centre, which we couldn't have walked to, was an absolute belter and we'll be going back to stock up before we leave here.

I was forced to eat the last mini-Magnum after lunch so we could finally defrost the freezer.  Tough job, but someone had to do it (and Chris doesn't like the white ones).

The sail is back where it belongs now but there's been a bit of a breeze today and it's directly on our beam so we're not able to hoist it fully and put the reefing lines back on the pulleys.  We've paid marina fees up until tomorrow and the plan was to leave in the morning and find somewhere to anchor in Fuerteventura, but we have to do the sail first, and I need WiFi for a bit longer so we'll stay at least one more day.  We are looking forward to moving on though.
