Well, exciting day. Left St Malo just after dawn, lock no problem and aimed to go to Lezardrieux. The weather was rubbish, force 6 gusting 7, biggish sea, so much for weather forecasts! Got so far, tacked and motorsailed to get to next point, when engine cut out! Fortunately, by this point, wind easing, we heaved to and set too to sort it out. Changed filter, did calculations and checked dials, lots of fuel, phoned Seastart for advice, fetched pipe off fuel tank and blew it through. Bit of resistance as Rob blew into filter bowl, then cleared. Clear into tank. Put it all back together, but wouldn't bleed through, not sure if too much air but then tried engine and it worked!!!

So, finished up in St Quay, all tide marina, on end of hammerhead, quite straight forward.
Had wonderful oysters and Tapas for dinner, light night both food and alcohol after last night. Then they laid on a magnificent firework display.

This morning, cleaning, Rob fixed danbouy and off.
