Motored all the way from St Martin to Soper's Hole on Tortola (having stopped for breakfast and a snorkel of the caves on Norman Island - still fantastic), cleared customs and then came round to Nanny Cay Marina to get the engine serviced and bits of work done before the trip home. There are lots of workmen here, which is good, but they also have the most fantastic showers - I must have got through more water already than in the last 6 months! - huge, stone-clad, lots of hot water, with plenty of space to get dried and dressed without getting everything wet.
It is very hot now, too hot to do much after about 11.ooam unless it's raining or cloudy - the fans on board have never worked so hard, and we've fitted mozzie nets, which doesn't help the ventilation.
Last night we met up with Jean Lumley from the Hammersmith - it was great to see her in such different surroundings, and we caught up on a lot of news.
Today we dived the Wreck of the Rhone, as featured in the film The Deep with Jacqueline Bissett, which was good, but not as good as last time, but at least we did it again, to finish our diving for a bit, I expect.
Tomorrow is work, getting all the bits done and then a final shop at the last minute. We'll let you know before we leave, and enjoy the last few days.
