The wind has continued, and the sea has been building during the morning, maybe 6m, but we're going along nicely at 8kn in 35kn of wind with full jib and a bit of main. The sun tries to get out, but not really sunbathing weather due to the waves splashing in the cockpit. The sea is actually quite impressive, particularly after being relatively calm yesterday.
All is well, sausages for breakfast, cheese and piccalilli for lunch (can finish the jar now as I know I can have a new one, same for Branston pickle) and will have salmon for dinner. Since the Duogen (towed electricity generator) has packed up - the shaft has broken, we've turned the fridge and freezer off to conserve electricity. We'll still run them on the engine, so stuff will be cold, but no longer frozen - sadly means no ice for the gin when we arrive in the UK.
655 miles to go to Lizard Point, just need a window between the depressions to get in.
