getting there but slowly. The only real question is whether we get to St
Lucia before the land team arrive!
Having now caught 6 fish, (5 dorade and 1 small tuna), I've now put a veto
on fishing until we've either eaten the meat in the fridge or the boys have
learnt to gut and skin fish, a task which is beyond them, or so it appears.
We have in fact eaten extremely well, having just finished a full english
breakfast, lacking only the Archers Omnibus. (If anybody can download the
podcast in a v small file, it would be much appreciated.) So far, we've had
fried fish, curried fish, grilled fish and we're now looking at fish pie or
fish stew. Any more suggestions welcome, but sadly Waitrose don't deliver
any extra ingredients.
We're now settling into a routine, will any of us be able to sleep a whole
night through, or walk in a straight line without swaying over a floor
tilting alternatively through 40 degrees? (Those anaesthetists reading this,
15 for a LSCS is nothing - I sleep at that every night!). Dog bowls for food
are excellent, they stop the food blowing away, but designer they are not -
Ollie and Fluffy have a far nicer one from Liberties at home, where ours are
grey or red plastic, 99p from Tesco - I suppose they go with the Ikea
plastic cups, now fading. Cooking is interesting, thank godness for non-slip
matting, and at this precise moment, even typing is dodgy, imagine being on
an old fashioned train, standing on one leg and that's the degre of
stability. The boys are playing with the sails, so they're happy, but it
does make an interesting ride down below!
WE seem to have lost the dolphins, haven't seen them for 2 days now, but
otherwise all is well. The tans are coming along well and yes, everybody is
putting on suntan cream, and we're having a great time. See you all soon,
