travelling the intracoastal waterway. On board we had a stowaway called Rachel Bruce. This young lady had come through an aggressive attack of the rarest cancer of the cervix. She had in the last 18 months gone from a successful volleyball coach with a fun independant lifestyle - through several operations, including a full hysterectomy to daily strong chemo therapy and massive doses of radiation. She lost her hair, went up 2 dress sizes because of lympth node removal and steroids - to being cancer free against all odds- as there are only 3 survivors in the USA today!
Rachel says the whole thing was life changing and she has a different perspective on life today. Nothing else matters , she is gratefuk to be alive - as she should have been dead six months ago. She promised God that if he let her live, she would tell her story of how he healed her, wherever she went. And she has, people are drawn to Rachel wherever we go and she tells them her story. She is not looking for sympathy, she is just giving glory to God and with her enthusiastic nature and big smile, she wins people over wherever we go. Please pray for Rachel as this cancer usually returns, the pronosis is awful, but she believes God has cured her and prayer changes everything!!!
