This week we went to Soller in Majorca and to the Balearic isle of Formentera

These little trams/trains run today and they were there over 20 years ago when I last went!!

Its a very pretty little place.

After here we left for Formentera which is quite a small island but the neighbours were 'big'

yes that is a private yacht and he had a helicopter pad. When the helicopter was done for the day, the back opened up and the helicopter was electronically lowered into the lower half of the boat and the deck closed over it again.....How the other half live!!

This was an even bigger private yacht.......we ceased to be amazed now!

John decided to just eat and watch! as different neighbours passed by

In the bay we anchored in many boats gathered and everyone had a good time swimming in the loveky water. there was also a place where you went for a mud bath (supposed to be good for the skin) and it was onky on closer inspection that we saw they had no clothes on!!

We met up again in this bay with the Florida friends we had met in Gibralter and the wanna be Hippies we met in majorca, quite unexpected as none of us knew where the others were headed. That evening we all went to the beach for an bit of a get together

We left Formentera unexpectedly because we decided to go out and have a sail, but the winds were so good and we knew we had a 24 hour passage ahead of us, so we just carried on. I was a bit sad we didnt get to say goodbye to our friends, but I have no doubt we shall meet up again somewhere!!

We arrived back on mainland spain and are at the moment doing some esssential boat maintenance and housework or is that boat work??

We have been out a couple of times

But I will be glad to get rid of the boat hair and get my hair done next week.

But still laying around!!

Over and out till next time xxx

John of course always looks good, he is very brown and still good looking - in my eyes always!!
