CUBANS HAVE LITTLE CHOICE IN ELECTRONICS AND THE BEST WASHING MACHINES COME FROM RUSSIA - the cost is around $300 and they are junk. It seems the government make the profit on them and very few women can afford a washing machine.. They are poorly constructed have single skins and are like the old twin tubs we used in the 60s. One pastors wife was upset as her washer had a hole in it which seemed impossible to repair. But John with the help of Dave decided they could fix it!!!

They set about with a plastic chopping board and stainless steel screws and boat stuff to fix it. The lady was very worried as they were putting even more holes in the machine
She was very very happy!!! Their reputation for fixing things spread and they were asked to do another. Unfortunately we had run out of time to do it.
