We are currently bowling along at 6-8 kt in a 20-25kt easterly.  We are heading for a point some 80  miles ahead that will keep us clear of the Mouchoir Bank (whale breeding grounds and very shallow) before we turn north towards the Caicos islands.

The first day out was good untl the wind died at 3am - predictable when you think about the size of Puerto Rico! Pretty slow motoring thereafter until late afternoon when a line of showers crossed us revealing a nice 20kt trade wind begind.  We've been in it ever since.

We are eating well.  Soup for lunch - we call it USDA soup - more on that later.  Pork medallions for dinner!

Happily neither of us is the worsefor getting shunted up the back end in our rental car in Puerto Rico!  More paperwork!
