8.5 days and almost 1100 miles after leaving beautiful Bora Bora we are ready to explore the beauty of Niue. We'll be arriving just after sunset, but still with time to have a celebration beer, and it will be exciting to waken up tomorrow, after a whole nights sleep, to see our view... golden sands and palm trees if we are lucky!

I rejoined Skye Blue in Bora Bora and it has taken a few days to get my sea legs again. The first 3 days were pretty bouncy and all I seemed to be able to eat was crackers and dry biscuits but things improved as the seas calmed and today I'm back to normal. Today I've had breakfast, morning coffee (with Malene's home made chocolate cake), lunch (assembled without disaster by me) and I'm looking forward to Nicola's fine dining dinner before dark. I'm sure our skipper Stephen will be serving the drinks once we are safely tied to our mooring later tonight.

So... we'll be resting tomorrow and you may not hear from us for a day or two but assume we make it safely to Niue and we'll be in touch again soon.
