Hello everyone.
Here we are with a new record for nautical miles
over 24 hours.
203,5 the last 24 hours.
That is very good concerning we are sailing on two
reefs in the main staysail and mizzen.
I´m happy anyway. :-)
All is well with us and we are just sailing along
so peacefull and calm as we can.
We are, asyou can see on the map, trying to adopt
to the winds as much as we can and use them to get a good angle coming in over
shallow waters below England.
As I think I mentioned before the waves can get
very choppy if you go north up west of Bretange/France and in to the chanel that
way.
Better be out and enter more from the west where
the seas are said to be calmer.
Sun is still shining on us and yesterday we got a
lot of things done.
I mended the biminitop that I steped through during
my wild rodeo ride on the boom.
Once I was ready with the sewing the pad that i had
prepared for putting on on the outside, blew away!
So I had to start over again. :-(
Onother hour of work getting the sides right and
secure and the spraying it with rainprotection (?) fluid and having that
dry.
While I was doing that Kalle cleaned the windows
again. Lot of salt on them you see.
So now we can actually see through them again
:-D
If you want you can see some pictures in the
swedish entry for today.
There you can also see that after a good days work
we got a little treat.
A small Coronita and four tortilla
chips.
Life is good !
Have a good one now all of you.
