Subject: Horta Town Hallo again.
Now we are safely settled in Horta
Harbour.
The last few hours yesterday, before landing was
not so good.
We hed a gale straight at us and where cruising ob
staysail and engine.
There seems to be something wrong with the
propeller.
The engine runs fine but there is no power in the
water.
We finally made it in but then the anchor wouldn´t
sit.
After three runs in the harbour fighting the wind
that was blowing gust to 40 knots straight in to the bassin,
we ended up alongside with an old rusty
fraighter.
So here we are after som 3050 Nm and 17 days and 23
hours.
Feels a bit strange to walk solid groung
again. :-)
Now Jörgen, Petrus and Peter are leaving for home
and another friend, Kalle, is coming aboard.
Good with friends isn´t it !
And us two are going to sail the boat up to England
and home throu the Kiel chanal and finaly the Baltic sea.
But first a few days rest.
We will probably be leaving by the
23rd.
Get back to you soon.
Have a good one! :-)
