All is well.

 

Yesterday Latitude Larry caught the worlds most expensive tuna. The massive investment in equipment has made its first return with a tiny little tuna, the fisherman says he’s never seen one that small, and we believe him. He was persuaded not to throw it back, and it now resides in the freezer awaiting more fish for a stew.

 

There was also much grinding of mental rithmatic and a smidgeon of cursing with the sextant, but after 2 hours a delighted cry went up announcing we knew where we were. Ocean Yachtmaster is onboard.

 

The wind dropped yesterday lunchtime, so we have been motor sailing for 24 hours. We are still just making 6 knots, although the ocean current that is supposed to help us all the way to the Canaries seems to have been replaced with 12 hourly tides, very odd.

 

The weather is now pretty warm, which is not surprising given that we are now off the coast of Africa, roughly West of Casablanca. Last night we had a few minor squalls come through, which enabled me to set up the radar to detect them.

 

Bob says he is on his way to meet the skiers of Lanzarote, could someone check the snow reports please.
