Well only 180nm to go. Spirits are high.

 

We are motoring with no wind at all, but have plenty of diesel to get there. For the first time we even have a favourable current – for most of the trip our instruments have been telling us it has been against us (although we suspect the instruments need re-calibrating).

 

If conditions remain as they are we should be in the marina about lunch time on the 10th December.

 

As the yachts converge on St Lucia we are coming back into VHF radio range (about 10 miles), and I've just had a chat with another yacht, Saltwhistle 3, who I got to know in Las Palmas.
