Small World
Trinidad,
7th April 2008
I never cease to be amazed at the smallness of this
planet we inhabit when it comes to meeting people. In Tobago we discovered
that friends from Boldre Lane, Lymington were staying at the hotel off which we
were moored. The Whately-Smiths. And in Trinidad it happened that
the wife of friends we had met in of all places Deal Island in the Bass Straight
was visiting on business. Linda came to dinner with Trinidadian
friends of ours and also visited us in Chaguaramus. This short blog
is dedicated to the above people. Great to see you and look after
yourselves.

Linda last was on board Nordlys on an unihabited Australian
island called Deal Island.
She and Tony her husband were doing a voluntary spell as
keepers of the small
museum there which tells of the story of the inhabitants who
looked after the
Light House in a bygone era.
The star of the show at rest after 5500 miles and six weeks of
motion.
Cruise Inn Marina, Chaguaramus, Trinidad. Suprisingly
little
has changed here since we left in 2002.
