Having travelled all the way from Calgary, Canada to visit us, it was great to welcome Jonas & Heather on board Nimue.  With the unexpected turn of events and Nimue not being ready to sail out of Deltaville, both had come prepared to explore Virginia by hire car instead.  We too were very glad to have a break and spent the following 10 days exploring previously visited and new sights of Virginia.   Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us, in fact, it was bitterly cold and overcast for most of their visit.  We soon learnt that Jonas was very much into historic canons, so don’t be surprised to see them in the following sets of blogs depicting their visit.
