Day 10

On Sunday Great Escape left Baiona for Cascais but pulled into Viana do Castelo due to an engine fuel starvation problem. The engineer was quickly engaged and after a couple of visits the problem should now be cured after eventually finding  a small ‘foreign body’ in the fuel pipe. The crew have had some time to enjoy this Portuguese fishing village and its great Fish restaurants and are now leaving to continue their voyage to Cascais where we should arrive tomorrow afternoon. The weather is wet but it should improve later today. The only downside is that the wind is likely to die away and we will be under engine for a few hours.
