Arrived last night in Horta, Azores: a little
tired but we are well and the boat is damage free.
The last 24 hours were challenging with wind
up to 38 knots and torrential rain. An odd feeling to smell land but not see it
when we were just a few miles out. Chris staggered on the quay as she went
to check in with customs and immigration; but she hadn’t had a drop to
drink.........tonight we may have more than one beer.
