A lovely first day passing Barbuda to our right but last 48 hrs we have been hard on the wind with 16-22kts – not pleasant sailing.  Currently 2 reefs in main and staysail doing about 5 kts.  Trying to get comfortable but the occasional ‘bang’ as we launch off a wave crest makes things a little less than relaxed.   

 

Not eaten much so far; fridge is still full of goodies.

 

Just logged first 200 miles........but trying not think about how many more hundreds to go.

 

We are in touch by satphone email with S/V Bella and S/V Froglexe who left Antigua with us.  Bella reckon that there should be wind from the south tomorrow.  No joking, we would rather have some south wind than win the lottery at the moment!
