Tuesday 21^st July 2015 to 29^th July 2015

These nine days are the hottest we have experienced in Spain, regularly reaching 36 degrees centigrade.  We spend a lot of time cleaning, polishing and stowing, but also socializing with other boat owners in the Marina.   We discover another restaurant on stilts – the Muscalarium – which we visit by water taxi with Barry and Sue on the 27^th. It is fiesta week in Sant Carles and so the restaurants are full, there are a lot of fireworks and even a procession and a dance in the square.

On the 29^th we pack up Evelyn B and drive back to Barcelona for the flight home, we are actually glad to be leaving the heat behind us!
