We departed Isla Margarita early in the morning to
have an afternoon arrival in Mochima. Chaser and Waylander
motored much of the way through lack of wind but arrived early afternoon.
That gave us time to chill out a bit before going ashore to Restaurant Puerto
Viejo for our last meal together -- for a long time, we had a good night.
Chris and Tony have some business in the states and
they will be flying out mid september to return early November, we on
Chaser will leave Venezuela at the end of November for a 6 month trip
to UK and Spain. We will make every effort to meet with Waylander
before we leave, we've had such a good time in their company and there were
a few tears when we said goodbye over the VHF when leaving Mochima. We do hope
we'll see them again, in fact I know we will one way or another, just that
timing hasn't worked favourably this time. They are good friends we will miss
them.
Actually this time we made our way back east for a
return visit to Medregal Village. We're checking out the area, we may stay a
while not sure yet.
