Well, ,to everyone that
knows us, no introduction is necessary but if anyone else is interested this is
Yvonne and myself. We're still in Rubicon doing a few odd jobs in between
enjoying some sightseeing. We have a small problem with the rigging; on
a Hunter rig the upper diagonals cross and have been touching causing a
little wear, so we've replaced them, not serious wear but they'll not get any
better. We've also got a problem in one of our fuel tanks, we think its diesel
bug, i've ordered some biocide from the states to get rid of it, (hope
it works). FedEx delivered it yesterday but someone refused acceptance because
they wouldn't pay the tax, they had our phone number, so it was a little
annoying. Hopefully FedEx will return with it today. Lanzarote is a nice place
and the people are genuinely friendly, but its difficult to get hold of
many items, understandably because its an Island in the Atlantic and
everything has to be shipped in. The post is apparently super
slow, so if you have any visitors or crew coming out, get them to
bring as much as possible.We have Camping Gaz on the Island now, there hasn't
been any since 2 or 3 weeks before we arrived, so there has been a few lendings
and borrowings. That's all for now folks, time for a cool one, over 30 deg
today.
