Well its coming to the end of the Caribbean tour. I am
back in the UK presently for my son's wedding after which i return to the boat
which is moored in Simpson bay marina ST Maarten. From here we sail to our last
destination which is Tortola in the BVi,s.
Once here we cruise around for two weeks and then get
ready for the big push home.
Originally the plan was to return with the ARC Europe
group. However due to Mark not returning to the boat and another crew
member leaving i have had to make alternative arrangements and employ a paid
crew to sail back.
Therefore we will sail straight to the Azores and then
England. As you can imagine the last week has been quite a challenge when i
received the late email from Mark saying he's not coming back it gave me very
little time to get replacement crew.
Nevertheless, its a great adventure and I'm looking
forward to the coming weeks. The boat has been fantastic and should auger well
for the Atlantic crossing.
Touring the Caribbean is a wonderful experience. Its
hard to decide what's been best... deserted beaches, wonderful wildlife,
beautiful sunsets and scenery or the friendly people
everywhere. I have enclosed a few snapshots. Keep in touch on

all the very best
