we are 100 miles off Madeira and glad of it!

Its been a very tough passage.Yesterday our 5th day at sea was the first day we had the wind off the nose. Also swell the height of a double decker bus.Tuesday night we had wind gusting at 50 knots.So you can imagine its been hard work work.Not a passage to remember. lets hope we have now picked up the prevailent northerlies.Now for a well earned rest in madeira.
